Bhaskar > An interesting ceremony in the marriage. The Bride-groom is supposed to walk out of the wedding, seeking a non-materialistic life studying scriptures and helping others.. Its' left to the Bride's father to convince him of the merits of married life and bring him back.. Now, what 'exactly' does the father tell him? ;-)

Bhaskar > Traditional, intricately patterned saree and head-dress..

Bhaskar > The bride-to-be escorted by her relaitves..

Bhaskar > Hey, try to reach.. Another fun ceremony while exchanging garlands.. Each person is lifted up by their uncles/ cousins and challenged to garland the other.. And, despite the way it looks, I am wearing a dhoti!
